Legendary boxer George Foreman has passed away at the age of 76, his family announced on his official Instagram account. While the cause of death was not immediately disclosed, the statement confirmed that Foreman peacefully departed on March 21, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Foreman, a two-time heavyweight champion, had an illustrious career with 81 fights and a remarkable record of 76 wins, including 68 knockouts. His achievements earned him a place in both the World Boxing Hall of Fame and the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
Describing him as a "devout preacher, devoted husband, and loving father," his family highlighted his unwavering faith, humility, and humanitarian spirit.
Foreman was married to Mary Joan Martelly for nearly 40 years. Before her, he had four previous marriages. His legacy as a boxer, Olympian, and role model remains unmatched, leaving behind a lasting impact on the world of sports.
