Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has warned that the United States would face a strong blow if it carried out Donald Trump’s threat to bomb Iran. His remarks came after Trump demanded a new nuclear deal, threatening military action if Tehran refused.

Iran formally protested to Switzerland’s embassy, which represents U.S. interests in Tehran, warning of a "decisive and immediate" response to any aggression. Khamenei accused the U.S. and Israel of persistent hostility, saying, "If they commit mischief, they will receive a strong reciprocal blow."
Meanwhile, President Masoud Pezeshkian ruled out direct negotiations with Washington but remained open to indirect talks, aligning with Khamenei’s stance. Revolutionary Guards commander Amirali Hajizadeh also warned that U.S. military bases in the region were vulnerable.
Iranian officials blame the West for past unrest, including the Mahsa Amini protests (2022-2023) and fuel price demonstrations (2019), emphasizing resilience against external interference.
