Pakistan's military is facing a wave of resignations as escalating attacks by the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and economic instability shake the nation. According to Kabul Frontline, approximately 2,500 soldiers have left the army in just one week, citing security concerns and financial uncertainty.

The increasing violence in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has resulted in heavy casualties, further demoralizing troops. Many soldiers are now seeking safer, more stable employment in Gulf countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE rather than risking their lives in conflict zones.

Recent attacks, including the hijacking of a train carrying soldiers in Balochistan and a deadly ambush on a military convoy in Noshki, have intensified concerns. While Pakistan's authorities remain silent on the resignations, the exodus raises questions about the army’s operational strength. As security threats mount, Pakistan faces growing challenges in maintaining its military’s effectiveness.
