Russian President Vladimir Putin has acknowledged global efforts toward a Ukraine ceasefire, expressing gratitude to several world leaders, including former U.S. President Donald Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking alongside Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Putin praised their dedication to peace, calling their mediation a "noble mission."

Putin specifically recognized the contributions of leaders from China, Brazil, and South Africa, stating that their involvement demonstrates a commitment to ending the ongoing conflict.
Prime Minister Modi reaffirmed India’s stance on peace, emphasizing that "this is not an era of war" and stressing the need for diplomacy over military action. India has consistently engaged with both Ukraine and Russia, advocating dialogue as the path to resolution.
Ukraine has now accepted a 30-day ceasefire proposal following discussions between Washington and Kyiv in Saudi Arabia. Putin suggested that Ukraine’s decision was made under U.S. pressure.
