ZELENSKYY PUSHES FOR PEACE AS UKRAINE, US OFFICIALS PREPARE FOR HIGH-LEVEL TALKS IN SAUDI ARABIA

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reaffirmed his commitment to ending the ongoing war with Russia, announcing upcoming peace negotiations between US and Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia. This will be the first high-level discussion since Zelenskyy’s February 28 meeting with former US President Donald Trump.

In Kyiv, Ukraine’s diplomatic team met with UK officials to strengthen joint efforts toward peace. Zelenskyy described the talks as "highly productive" and expressed appreciation for the UK’s ongoing support, emphasizing Ukraine’s dedication to achieving a just and lasting resolution.

Following his participation in a European leaders' summit in London on March 2, Zelenskyy met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and King Charles to discuss security concerns and Ukraine’s future within Europe. Meanwhile, US envoy Steve Witkoff confirmed a meeting with Ukrainian officials in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to explore a potential ceasefire and a broader peace framework. Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the discussions would take place soon.
